The following are terms of a legal agreement between you and ALPARGATAS EUROPE, S.L.U., (legal owner of Havaianas products a trade marks), hereinafter ALPARGATAS, a Spanish corporation with B85358596 as a tax identification number (CIF) and its principal place of business at Calle Menorca 15, 28009 Madrid, Spain. By using this web site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed, to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, do not place an order.
USE OF OUR WEBSITE
These terms are important for both you and us as they have been designed to protect your rights as a valued customer and to protect our rights as a business and to create a legal binding agreement between us.
You can place orders anytime, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
To place an order, you must:
1. be of legal age according to your personal law.
2. be a consumer - not a reseller.
3. fill in the corresponding form with the required data, including an e-mail address to place an order online.
CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT
The presentation of our goods and services via our online store is intended to form the basis of an invitation to enter into a contractual offer to purchase. By clicking the "Order" button in the last phase of the ordering process you are completing a binding order for the goods which you have placed in the online shopping basket. Once we have received your order your will receive an acknowledgement of receipt by email. This email is not equivalent to a confirmation that a contract to purchase has been agreed. The contract for the purchase of a product between us will only be formed when we send you another e-mail with the invoice.
ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS
We reserve the right to refuse any order for a justified reason. We also reserve the right to cancel any purchase (an order already accepted by us) in (amongst others) the following situations, without being liable for any damage or costs:
- - The product is not available / in stock (any payments will be refunded);
- - Your billing information is not correct or not verifiable;
- - Your order is flagged up by our security systems as an unusual order or an order susceptible to fraud;
- - Your bank transfer payment is not received within 12 calendar days after acceptance of your order;
- - We have reason to believe you are under legal age;
- - We have reason to believe that you are a reseller;
- - We could not deliver to the address provided by you.
If an order is not accepted we will inform the customer immediately by email. We shall, of course also inform the customer by email in cases in which we are unable to meet the order.
RETURNS
- - Within 7 days upon receipt, you have contacted upfront our customer service team with your order number (H+6 digits) in order to get a return authorization number.
- - The original tags are attached to the item
- - The original stickers are still under the soles of the flip-flops (if it is a flip-flop)
- - You include in the return box the original invoice
- - There are no visible signs of wear and tear
- - The original product is returned in its original packaging (either a box or bag depending on the kind of item you ordered) before 14 days upon receipt using the below address

Once you receive your order, you have 7 working days to contact our customer service using the following email address customerservice@havaianas-store.com to get a return authorization number and a return form. As soon as you get it, you have 7 days to ship to the address below and make sure to include a print-out of the filled-in return form inside the box.
If your return follows the requirements, ALPARGATAS will refund your initial payment within a month on the same credit card number, excluding shipping charges. Besides, ALPARGATAS is not responsible for shipping charges back to the warehouse. When returning an item, we recommend using a traceable method of shipping since ALPARGATAS cannot assume responsibility for misdirected or lost shipments.
Defective product returns
In circumstances where you consider that the product does not conform to the contract at the time of delivery, you should promptly contact us explaining the details of the product and its damage.
You should return the product to us at the address indicated at the Returns paragraph.
We will fully examine the returned product and will notify you of your right to a replacement or refund (if any) via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process the refund as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you via e-mail that you are entitled to a refund of the defective product.
Products returned by you because of a defect, where one exists, will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to us.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Delivery of goods ordered from us will be made to the address stated by the purchaser.
If your order is placed before 3PM, your order will be shipped the same day. You will receive the product purchased within a maximum term of thirty days. We will endeavor to deliver the product in a shorter period of time (standard shipment within 3-4 working days; this is a non-binding information).
Please note that orders placed over the weekend or bank holidays will not be processed until the following business day.
If an item you have ordered is not available, we are not bound by the contractual obligation to deliver; in this event we shall inform you, without delay, of the non-availability of the goods and reimburse any consideration received.
All products on the website are currently delivered to residential or work addresses in the following European countries:
- Austria,
- Belgium,
- Denmark (excluding Faroe Islands and Greenland),
- France (covering Corsica and Monaco but excluding DOM-TOM),
- Germany (excluding Helgoland and Büsingen),
- Republic of Ireland,
- Italy (excluding Livigno and Campione d'Italia),

Please note that:
- We will deliver to the home or office address indicated by you when you place an order.
- All deliveries must be signed for upon receipt.
- We will try at least twice to deliver your order at the address indicated by you.
- If you are not at the address indicated to receive the delivery, in this case, the transport company will leave a note, including their contact details, to inform you that they tried to deliver. Should they not hear from you, they will schedule a 2nd and if necessary a 3rd attempt. Should the 3rd attempt not be successful, the order will be returned to us and the purchased amount will be refunded accordingly to the same credit card details used during the checkout, within a period of 14 days from the receipt of the product in our warehouse.
- We reserve the right to cancel your purchase in the event nobody is available to sign for receipt. In this case, you will not have the right to make any claims against ALPARGATAS
- You bear the risk for the products once delivery is completed.

All of the data provided by you when ordering or purchasing the products shown on ALPARGATAS’ website will be incorporated into a file controlled by ALPARGATAS in order to satisfactorily manage its contractual relationship with you.
